Koin Coffee started in 2019 with a simple goal: bring people together over truly great coffee.

The name “Koin” comes from the Greek word koinonia, meaning community and fellowship—something we believe every good cup of coffee should create.

This company began out of frustration. Living in North Central West Virginia, it was nearly impossible to find fresh, high-quality single origin coffee. So instead of settling, we started roasting our own.

Today, we roast in extremely small batches on a 1kg Diedrich roaster. We offer a small number of coffees at a time, each selected and roasted with precision. Our goal is not just to offer coffee, but offer an experience!
